Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Plannly ("the app", "we") is a day planner for iPhone and iPad published by Thuyen Nguyen, an individual based in Vietnam. Contact: [email protected].
This policy explains what data the app uses and why.
2. Your tasks stay on your device
Tasks, subtasks, notes, templates and settings are stored on your device. We have no accounts and no server, so we never receive your tasks.
If you turn on iCloud sync, the data is also stored in your private iCloud database. It is protected by your Apple ID, and we cannot read it.
3. Calendars, reminders and notifications
If you allow it, the app reads events from your Calendar or items from Reminders to show or import them. This happens on your device only, and the content is not sent to us or to any third party.
Reminders for your tasks are local notifications created on your device.
4. Analytics and crash reports
We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google) to understand how the app is used and to fix crashes. They receive usage events (for example, that a task was created or the paywall was opened), device and app information (model, OS version, app version, language, approximate location from IP address), an app instance identifier, and crash diagnostics.
The text of your tasks, notes and searches is never included. We do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) and do not track you across other apps or websites.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics collection starts only after you agree. In other regions it is on by default. You can switch it off at any time in Settings, Data, "Send anonymous statistics".
5. Purchases
Payments are processed by Apple. We never see your card or payment details. We use Adapty to manage Plannly Pro: it receives a profile identifier, your purchase history and subscription status, and technical data needed to process purchases, so that Pro can be unlocked and restored.
6. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data and do not share it for advertising. Data is shared only with the service providers above (Apple, Google, Adapty), who process it to provide their services. These providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States.
7. Your choices and rights
You can export and delete your data in the app: Settings, Data. "Delete all data" erases the local database and the app records in your iCloud.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK, or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. To use these rights for analytics or purchase data, write to [email protected]. We will reply within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA.
8. Children
Plannly is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets a higher age), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will help remove it.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. Earlier versions are kept on this site.
